Overall: The ETPRS respects all beliefs, but in itself is not affiliated with any one belief system.
This is not intended to alienate, rather, our mission is one that requires an open mind to
objectively look at the issues in a fair way.
Furthermore, the offences below are all grounds subject to expulsion from the ETPRS.
It is critical that hosts are completely comfortable with our presence on their property. If a
member is being disruptive and does not follow the rules below, the appointed "Responsible"
person (Team Leader) has the right to ask that person to leave.
1. No weapons are to be brought on premise. (Pocket knives three (3) inches or

3. All members of an investigation will be pre-approved prior to taking part. There

8. All investigators performing investigations must be dressed in appropriate attire for
both the physical and social environment of the site unless stated otherwise. This
means comfortable but safe footwear, dark non-reflective clothes and jewelry, and
no loose objects such as wallet chains.
9. Members should ensure that their language is professional in nature, not lending to
tirades of vulgarities.
10. No alcohol or illegal drugs are permitted on the investigation site. This will result
not only in removal from the site but possible expulsion from the society entirely.
If you are taking a prescription medication that might effect the investigation, or
the people involved, please inform your team leader(s).
11. The person(s) as team leader(s) on the site are in charge while on the site.
12. I.D. badges will be worn at all times during an investigation.
13. Direct any questions from the media, police, or any other person to the on site
team leader(s) unless the team leader(s) informs you otherwise prior to the start of
the investigation.
14. All investigators will respect the privacy of the business, people, and/or families
we are investigating for.
15. All investigators will respect the site itself in an investigation.
16. We all want to have a good time on any gathering, however, no "pranks" or
"practical jokes" on an investigation.
17. No handling of private property during an investigation without prior consent of
the owner. If you accidentally break or damage something, let a team leader know
immediately.
18. No smoking on or in an investigation site, except for designated areas.
19. ETPRS, as a group, reserves the right to use all evidence gathered on an ETPRS
investigation.
20. As a member, it is your duty to remember that before, during, and after an official
investigation, you are not only representing yourself but your team and the entire
organization as well.
21. Do not bring negativity or personal issues to an investigation.
22. Always look for a scientific explanation first.
23. One must exercise caution at all investigations. Any site may have hazards,
including but not limited to broken glass, hanging wires, debris, etc. Investigators
must be aware of and guard against injury at all times during an investigation.
You will be required to sign a release form stating that the owners of the
investigation site and the ETPRS are NOT responsible for any injuries you might
sustain. This is not an option, but a requirement to participate in any investigation.
24. If you break any of the above stated rules, the council will make proper attempts to
communicate and resolve the issue. Then refer the incident to the board. In order
for the growth and development of the group and it's best interests. If a council
member is in violation of the rules they are subject to the same fate as a regular
member.
Immediate Expulsion and Removal: If a member is observed doing the following things, the
member will be immediately removed and banned from the group.
1. Willful misuse of ETPRS property.
2. Misrepresentation of the ETPRS name.
3. Willful disregard of his/her own safety, or the safety of others on ETPRS sponsored or
sanctioned trips or events.
Revision Process: The group has the right to make changes to the charter. To do this, an
amendment must be drafted. Then the deliverer of the amendment will get signatures of 1/3 of
the group to bring before the greater group for a vote. The council and Board will facilitate the
vote and a super majority must approve of the measure prior to the rule becoming formalized.
The super majority of the ETPRS must be present to have a quorum.
